Am I a photographer? Not at all. I'm brand new to the photography world and have so much to explore.

I picked up a point-and-shoot early this year and instantly discovered how inadequate my phone's camera had been. Soon after I knew that wasn't enough. I quickly went down the DSLR path thinking that that was the end goal, but the more I learned, the more I realized there is a point where it's not about the gear and it becomes about the person wielding that gear.

While this blog begins with a Canon 70D, this is a place where DSLR isn't about camera, it's about the photography process. Doing. Seeing. Learning. Refining.
